Choosing a care home is a major life decision and can involve large financial commitment. It is important that older people are in a position to make a good choice first time.

We believe that service users are entitled to receive a high standard of Nursing Care. We have adapted to the holistic approach, striving to meet clients individual physical and psychological needs. Our motto is "To care for each individual as if they are your own mother or father".
Physical help includes changing dressings, washing and feeding. administering medications and observing bodily functions. Psychological care involves ensuring that they have the right to maintain their independence and dignity at all times. and providing information about their condition and a sense of security and comfort while they are resident at the Warberries.

The nurse needs to:-
be an advocate for the client;
guide and support the client;
provide a developmental environment in which to teach the client;
involve the relatives or who they wish to be involved.

The nurse should utilise one of the three nursing systems when giving care:
- wholly compensatory: where the nurse acts for the totally incapacitated client
- partially compensatory: where the nurse assists the client allowing for limitations
- educative/developmental: where the client needs minimal assistance and the nurse acts in a consultative role

We believe that both clients and relatives are entitled to freely express their wishes and concerns to us and should be given relevant information.

To promote this we strive to maintain a happy and social environment. Where each member of the team has the right to openly express their feelings and views and to respect each others opinions.

Palliative care
Several members of staff are trained in Palliative care and we offer high dependency nursing, in a quiet and calm environment to maximize the quality of their life. We ensure that every individual receives every luxury to enhance their comfort.
